Classes 2012
For winter class listings and descriptions, click on the downloadable Winter Classes Brochure. The Arts Center is offering a variety of quality arts education experiences for all.

Teen and adult art classes will feature: A Splash of Color (Tie-Dye), Writing in Vignette, Beginning Relief Printmaking, Building on Water Color Basics, Relief & Monotype Print Exploration, Shibori: with folded bamboo stand (supply list below), and Beginning Water. The Clay Center will be offering classes for adults and teens (16 and older): Beginning Wheel (2 sessions), Sweetheart Night (Valentine’s Day evening), Pottery & Pizza: Clay in One Day for Teens, Clay in a Day for Adults; Glazing Workshop, Intermediate and Advanced Wheel, Adaptive Ceramics for students with disabilities, and Clay Boot Camp with Art Gannet of Red Wing Pottery.

Children’s, Youth and Teen classes feature: Play in a Day (Down on the Farm, Bright Lights of the City and Magical & Mystical), Through the Pencil: drawing for children, With the Brush: painting for children; and 2 sessions of Wheel for Kids.

All Arts Center class registrations take place through St. Peter Community and Family Education. Registration for the winter session begins January 11th and is available via phone 507-934-3048. Mail to: Community and Family Education, 600 S 5th St., Ste. 207, St. Peter, MN 56082; in person at Community Education offices or drop registration form (in the class list download) in the drop box located in the Community Center near the Fifth St. entrance.
